Welcome To Our New Shop & Gallery

The wait is over. Hershey Violins has opened a new full-service retail facility on the square of historic downtown Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The new shop will offer the beginning student through the professional player instruments, accessories, and onsite repair services. Scott Hershey, maker of fine violins, violas and cellos for more than twenty-five years will be making instruments at this new location as well. Hershey had the interest of his customers in mind when he planned the shop's gracious interior. "The set-up of my workshop was designed to allow visitors to view the 'old world' process of stringed-instrument production from the showroom," he said.

The shop also includes private teaching studio space and a gallery which will showcase the work of Deborah Hershey, whose unique style of painting and collage is currently represented by The Village Artisans Gallery in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania, Stone Crest York, in York, Pennsylvania, The Indigo Moon Artisans Gallery in Manteo (on Roanoke Island), North Carolina.

Hershey Violins store hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 11 am to 5 pm, Thursday, 11 am to 8 pm, and Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. Special hours are offered by appointment. For more information call: (717) 697-6341.
