Varnishing

Violins with their first sealer coats applied. Color coats will now begin. Violins with their final color coats applied. The rubbing-out process will finish this multi-layered process. A violin front view with the final color coat applied. Final polishing is completed and the instrument will now undergo final set-up and adjustments. Fingerboard glued on, pegs cut, bridge and sound post cut, neck stained and polished,final set-up, stringing-up and testing.

Four final varnished 16 1/2" violas await the polishing-out process. Four violas and five violins with their final color coats. Also, a few family members are hanging below.
